Self-Compassionate Reframing How to Use Reframing to Challenge Your Inner Critic
Digital Copy in pdf format
Summary
We all have our inner dialogue and patterns of how we think about ourselves, others and the world. We can develop inner dialogues that consist of speaking to ourselves in critical and harsh ways. Moreover, we can become so used to our inner dialogue that it feels natural and right to speak to ourselves in these ways. We accept our inner voice as the truth and believe thoughts our minds throw at us such as “I am not good enough” or “I need to give myself tough love.” However, many of these thoughts and mindsets that come from our inner dialogue are, unfortunately, unhelpful and tend to keep people stuck. Developing our sense of self-compassion and over time transitioning our automatic self-critical voice to a self-compassionate one is empowering and life changing. This book focuses on understanding the principles of self-compassion, and specific, actionable steps to build your ability to be self-compassionate.
